The candle I'm currently using is the Voluspa Makassar Ebony and Peach candle. It's a beautiful smoky and fruit scent. I tend to like soft florals, or fruity scents. I also like herb-y scents, like lavender or lemon verbena.

I like to burn scented candles in the guest room before visitors arrive, so the room smells welcoming.

I also like to burn candles in the bathroom when lounging in the bath.

I will have to try the Yankee Candle Clean Cotton scent based on your recommendation!

I only buy soy candles. I actually sell them for another lady locally and get free ones for the ones I sell 20%. Its a great deal. Soy candles are wonderful. They burn clean, are from a renewable resource, are non-toxic, and will not harm you or your family when burning! I wish that everyone only supported soy candles and would put traditional petroleum based candles out of business!

My favourite scented candles are Vanilla. Just so refreshing and welcoming and they can go almost anywhere without becoming too intrusive in the atmosphere. My first favorite I do not know the name of. they are the 10.00 candle set you get at walmart :-) They come in a glass jar & include the small voltive (sp) Ones as well.. We always get the Black Cherry ones.. oh they are so yummy & smell up the whole house! I have received so many comments on them!!

My other favorite is one the kids bought me from school. Some fundraiser thing.. Anyways it is "home And garden party" brand (Or so it says lol) This smell is a Cinnamon Rolls... And WOW Does it smell like them!! A kind of burnt smell LOL. But if you are not NEAR the candle you can not smell it burning (the burning part of it... the wick smell?) But the scent is so great & does fill the house!! All my kids thought I bought some! Took them a bit to figure out where the smell was coming from! lol.

I love burning candles. When I was living in Ohio and had expensive electric baseboard heat (UGH!) I would burn candles any time I was at home during the winter. I love my candles, but my favorite one has to be the one my sister-in-law got for me about 5 years ago. At first, I didn't burn it, because I didn't think I would like the combination of scents (cinnabuns, caramel pear, and pumpkin spice), and I'm not a big fan of pumpkin spice. But I decided eventually to take the lid off the jar, and I just loved it! Unfortunately, I have been unable to find it anywhere, not even where she originally got it, so I have been only burning it when I am having a really bad day. I find candles very relaxing and depending on my mood, i chose my scent. Soy candles, I find, burn cleaner than the beex wax ones, however if you are making your own beeswax is easier to work with. My very favorite scent of any and all candle is vanilla and I love using them in the bathroom when I soak in my bubble bath.
