Scented candles are a wonderful addition to just about every home. I enjoy the many wonderful and varied scents they can add to your house. They make your house smell so inviting and wonderful. It helps easy my mood when I'm having a particularly bad day. Being a mom of two young boys you can imagine how great it is to be able to escape into a wonderful bliss of sweet smelling rain. I love to burn candles at the end of the day just to take the edge off. Cinnamon scented candles come in real handy in the Christmas season. I love to bake cookies and have a candle burning. It makes visitors want to kick off their shoes and stay for a while. I also enjoy burning the pumpkin scented candles during the Thanksgiving holidays. Glade Scented Oils!

I found my favorite candles almost three years ago on a whim. My husband and I had gotten a coupon in the mail to try out Glade's scented oil candles. Since we both were smokers at the time and had pets we figured we'd give it a try. We took our $3.00 off coupon to the drug store and purchased a trio pack of Dewberry scent. We fell in love instantly. We learned later that they offered numerous other scents and loved them all. They burned for a minimum of three hours and the frangrance lasted at least six. They are nice because for the price the candle burns down to its interity. There is no messy wax as it burns up. And you are left with a metal wick that has a magnet to the glass holder. We were seeking more scents, not knowing that our favorite Apple Cinnamon was a holiday scent, so we contacted Glade only to get a package of $10 worth of coupons to test out some other scents. My Favorite Candles Bring Back Memories

My favorite candles are the ones that smell like something from my past. Maybe it's the apple blossom scent that used to hang over the back yard of my parents house in the spring. Maybe it's the smell of flowers outside the bungalow we rented on our first vacation to Hawaii. Maybe it's just the citrus and pine scent of the winter holidays that can be remembered in a moment by lighting up the right candle. The scents take me back to those fine times and make me smile. I like to use the scent of candles to create a mood in my home. I burn candles at least a part of everyday, and the scent I use depends on what I am trying to achieve as far as the mood or feeling in my home. Lavender candles are so relaxing; I like to use them in the evening or when something exciting in a bad way has happened. Scented Candles are Lovely I really enjoy scented candles. I often burn them in my home to add a warmth to my surroundings. I love candles that are vanilla, or a vanilla blend. These remind me so much of baking and being pampered. I also enjoy cinnamon scents, especially when combined with apple.. But I often receive other scents as gifts which is fun and expands my normal choices. I have found a few local candle makers that often have very interesting combinations! They have kiwi strawberry or mocha! I even have helped friends make their own candles, which is fun because you can pick any shape or container and blend your own scents to be as strong or as subtle as you would like them to be. These are so fun to smell! And I enjoy buying from local vendors to help support my community. I like to leave a candle burning in the living room while meals are being prepared or while my family is relaxing. They are especially relaxing when taking a bath or enjoying a favorite novel.
