My Candle Story
My Candle Story I work everyday and found that if I lite a candle it is relaxing and gives off a calming effect to any stress within the course of my workday. My favorite candles are from Village Candles, because they have a strong scent they also seem to burn the longest and last several days with the scent lingering on. I prefer jar candles because they are stable and will not tip over, easy to place on my cubicle shelf and has less chances of tipping and contains the flame of the wick. Mu favorite scent our the Village Candles scents of lilac, apple, and pine over the Christmas holidays. Other than burning candles at work, I love to burn holiday scents around the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays. It gives my home a relaxing effect and added to the holiday spirit. This is a tradition that I learned from my mother growing up and that my sisters and I both do to make the holiday's extra special. I have tried several other makers of candles but Village Candles seem to be the one's I prefer mainly because they last longer and are a better value for the money. Also...

Candles, Candles, and more Candles!
Warm Vanilla, Clean cotton, Apple pie, Honeydew melon...these are just some of my favorite candle scents. Each one is so unique, so different, and pleasing in it's own special way. Candles do so much more than just light a room. They fill the air with lovely aromas, provide a warm glow for an intimate occasion, provide tranquility after a hard day at work, and turn a house into a home. I would definitely consider myself to be a "candle" person. I love candles, whether they be a warm, familiar scent or a new unique one. I burn different scents depending on my mood, or what I'm doing. For instance, I love the smell of clean cotton when I'm cleaning my house; but when I'm baking, I would prefer the aroma of warm vanilla. When I take a nice warm bubble bath, I enjoy some sort of ocean or breeze scented candle. Candles come in all different shapes, sizes, scents, and more importantly brands. While I have to admit that the shape, size, and scent are all important factors, depending on your use, nothing, in my opinion, is more important than the brand. Scented candles are a wonderful

Scented candles are a wonderful addition to just about every home. I enjoy the many wonderful and varied scents they can add to your house. They make your house smell so inviting and wonderful. It helps easy my mood when I'm having a particularly bad day. Being a mom of two young boys you can imagine how great it is to be able to escape into a wonderful bliss of sweet smelling rain. I love to burn candles at the end of the day just to take the edge off. Cinnamon scented candles come in real handy in the Christmas season. I love to bake cookies and have a candle burning. It makes visitors want to kick off their shoes and stay for a while. I also enjoy burning the pumpkin scented candles during the Thanksgiving holidays. It is great to be able to rotate your candles according to the season, it just puts everyone in such a good mood. I know of a local candle maker that makes these great smelling candles. He uses the right amount of scented oil and he can mix just about any scent you want. I think the most popular he makes is a creme brulee. All of his candles completely burn to the bottom of the jar. They do not leave a ring like most candles do. It allows you to get your complete money's worth because you won't be throwing away any of the candle. You get to enjoy every last sensuous smell down to the last drop of wax. Candles are always mean relaxation to me. You don't even have to light it, just to be able to look at them is so relaxing. I enjoy burning my candles just about every night. Draw a bubble bath, get daddy to watch the kids, curl up with a book and a yummy candle. There is nothing better than that short of going to a spa. Next time you light a candle dive into it. Enjoy everything about it. Don't move until you are surrounded by a lightly cascading scent that will whisk away all your worries and anxiety. Let the candle take to the most romantic place you can imagine. Your own slice of heaven in the middle of the day without ever leaving your home. I love to watch the candle burn and pretend that it represents by problems, just melting away. Once the candle is burned I feel as though I can take on the world.
